Timeline

We started the project with the analysis of the quality of the compost made on the same farm from alperujo (a by-product of olive oil mills during the extraction of olive oil), pruning residues and extensive livestock manure

November 11, 2022

 We identify the areas where the alperujo compost will be applied, which will be an area of hedged olive grove of the arbosana variety with exclusion of livestock and another area of olive grove of the arbequina variety in which we have two delimited areas, one managed with sheep and the other with donkeys.

January 1, 2023

We collect the first soil samples for their initial characterization.

March 9, 2023

We apply the mature compost in our plots.
